Help needed- new set up results in one mic going down
« on: April 13, 2011, 03:38:03 PM »
Hi

I've recently upgraded from a mini disc binaural mics & battery box set up to zoom h1 binaural mics & battery box

The mics were a bit old so was not shocked when I switched them on for a show to find one channel had died

For the next show I used the same make of binaurals but a new pair- only for the same thing to happen.

I then used another set of binauarals-different maker only for the same thing to happen

can anyone suggest a solution/cause-it's a bit expensive to lose 3 sets of microphones!

try a different recorder; with three sets of mics only having one channel working my money is on the H1 having a bad channel or bad input jack

Hi I've tried  the microphones in different recorders but it still comes up with only the one channel working-also used a new lead from the batt box to the recorder
