when iriver is connect to pc

When I have my iriver connect to PC, sometimes after I am done tranferring a file I go to unplug the usb cable and my iriver doesn't boot up. This happen the other day and I thought it was my battery. Any thoughts on this?

Did you click the green arrow in the system tray and click ok before removing??

My windows doesn't do that, running a old laptop my friend is letting me use. Xp 2008 is what is installed...

I have a xp laptop that you still have to do that to disconnect a hard drive device!!  I'm guessing that is what is messing with the iriver.

Get a littlebox>M10 and you'll be in good shape.  Maybe you should format the H120 and then install the latest vesion of rockbox.  That might help
