Any thoughts. Tubes, 3 sets of caps, field ready power supply. Use with AKG CK6_ caps.

There is a particular tape on the LMA.... I think it's Umphrey's McGee at House of Blues in Boston...  that is unbelievable.

very nice mics, but dealing with tube power supplies at a remote venue is a PITA.

I designed the DC Power Supply for Telefunken -> Runs both mics (could handle up to 4 mics) at 7-24V DC input.

They do sound very nice and are definitely on par with the Schoeps m222 setup I have.

It's a pretty hard deal to beat at $2900 w/ 3 sets of caps.

BTW - They where offering a loner set for a taper a few months back.

How are their capsules?  I wonder if they are close to Scheops, or if they are "modern" versions (ie., Chinese made).

I am pretty sure the m260 caps are made by hand at their facility in South Windsor, CT.  Every time I have been there they have been making various capsules.
