Recording apps for HTC Evo 4g?
« on: December 07, 2011, 09:20:07 AM »
I just read the thread about recording on an iPod touch and was wondering if there were any recommended apps that one could use to record with my HTC Evo. I'm kind of a newcomer to the smart phone thing. I took a look at market.android.com and found one called PCM Recorder that looked OK. Opinons?

what will you use for the ADC and connection? Cause if you just plug it into the headphone jack then you're at the mercy of the phone's ADC which isnt designed for music.

I hadn't really thought that far. Do you think I should stick to the R-09 for stealthing?

based on my experience, yes. I've tried the ADCs in a series of smartphones and have been severely underwhelmed at the results. They arn't designed for quality sonic reproduction at this point in time (and may never, it's not part of the core mission).
