Can't save file bigger than 2gb, using Soundforge 9

Hi, I have two 96hzk,24 bit files  that i want to merge together using Soundforge 9. Then i want to save it and i get an error, saying the files is to big.

The files are located on and external disc, format NFST.

I heard about file limits but i thought this was only on FAT32 systems. What can I do?

In the preferences tab in Soundforge tick the box that says "allow wav file larger than 4GB or up to..."

Did you go to OPTIONS > PREFERENCES>General>allow wav renders up ti> 4gb

Im using Sony Vegas but i can't beleive that option would not exist in Soundforge(it is Sony Vegas studio Sony Vegas Pro and Sony Acid.

So another work around is to Render to Sony w64 which is sony wav with out file size limit.....this will not play anywhere besides sony software as far as im aware BUT you can use it in CD WAVE.

Just another note that Cd Wave can not open any file over 4 gb.

WaveLab 6 can open files UP TO 4gb. Earlier versions of WL CANNOT do files up to 4gb. Only 2gb ;)

Thanks Beatkilla, Bean, i will figure out Wavelab.  ;)

Have to check if i will have files bigger than 4gb but if so, i also will get a problem with cdwave. But i guess Wavelab has some sort of export option in seperate files, will search..
