Clips To Mount CMRs On Body
« on: January 17, 2012, 09:51:56 AM »
I just picked up a CMR/Tinybox setup and was looking for some clips to mount them to myself for when I need to go 007.  Does anyone have suggestions on what might fit the CMRs??

Thanks.

007 topics have already been covered publicly in-depth, even when this info should remain out of the public domain. I will send you a PM with some suggestions, but you should be searching on this topic a bit and we should not hash it out in this thread.

I just scored some Oktava MC-012 Clip Mounts, and they fit the Schoeps PERFECTLY, and although theyre a bit bigger than the SGC/SGCM's, these will last a lifetime theyre so f'n durablee :) Just place them towards the back of the KCY/CMR, and you can still fit a windscreen on it successfully ;D

I'm psyched because I HATE how fragile the SGC's are :P ;D

Me too, Bean. The SGC-M's are marginally better (love the metal jaws and thumb-screws) but still have the damned plastic, threaded base that splits/cracks very easily. If the SGC-M's had a metal base they would easily be the ultimate clip for Schempz actives...
