Hey everyone... i was wondering if anyone could recomend a book or even a school with on-line classes in audio engineering.....

Berklee College of Music has extensive (and expensive) online courses:

They call their course "music production" rather than "audio engineering".

I scan all the community night school programs, hoping that somebody will come up with a "How to Get The Most Out Of Wavelab (or another audio editor)" course.  Not much chance I guess...might be only me in the class.

Im doing recording engineering and live sound and lighting degrees right now.  Don't see how you could do these classes online unless you have a lot of gear yourself.  Lots of hands on stuff.
