Manfrotto Alu Master 3 Riser 12' AC Stand
« on: March 13, 2012, 10:18:18 PM »
I just picked up http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/644444-REG/Manfrotto_1004BAC_Alu_Master_3_Riser.html this Manfrotto stand.
Wow, am I impressed with the quality. Of course I know Manfrotto makes high quality equipment, but this thing is a work of art.

Nice! I got that impression when I set it up last night. Strong build.

Yup, I got one of those a couple of weeks ago, and it's very nice for flying your mics high. Keep in mind that the built-in stud's threads are 3/8", and it only comes with a 1/4" adapter, though. If your mounting bar(s) are 5/8", you'll need an adapter.
Mics: AKG Perception 170, Naiant X-X, Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2
Preamps: Naiant Littlebox
Recorders: Olympus LS-10
Interfaces: Focusrite Saffire Pro 14, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
