I'll record a Taiko show this Saturday
« on: March 22, 2012, 09:10:48 AM »
Hi!

What's the best mics/setup in order to tape a Taiko show?

Taiko is a kind of Japanese musical show made basic by drums instruments. 100% acoustic.

Thanks.
Regards.

I would too. Have fun! Taiko is a really cool thing. We have a group coming to my school later this year and I'm planning on recording them too.

Taiko is LOUD. Mic-->battery box-->Line-in. And keep the input level low because taiko has SPIKES!!!!
