edirol r09 - buzzing in the right channel
« on: March 31, 2012, 09:57:57 AM »

I caught a show last night and my recording has a buzzing in the right channel. My gear for the audience portion of the show was Church-Audio STC-11 cards > Church-Audio STC-9100 preamp > Edirol R-09.

I am having some trouble searching - any advice on where I start to troubleshoot as I have another show tonight! Thanks!

you could eliminate some of the causes by checking the edirol with it's internal mics. Then, it might be the r9's mic in connection, notoriously bad, can check by running the mic system into another recorder, I think most pc's have a mic in you could use.......

good luck
