Topic: Phase checking plug-in?

I remember a while back, someone told me of a DAW plug-in that could check absolute phase of a recording. I forgot about it and I could use it now. I can't find anything on it by searching here. But, I know someone posted about it in the past.

Anyone remember that? Or can anyone point me to a tool that'll help me?

I made a mono SBD and 2 channel AUD recording recently that I can not for the life of me figure out what's going on. When I line up the AUD and SBD files it gets weird sounding (phasey), but when I reverse the phase on the AUD source, it's still there, but different sounding.

Experience has told me the best way to decide which combination is best is to use the combination that yields the best bass response, but that's not completely working for me this time. I was way further back with the microphones than I usually like  to set-up and it was outdoors, which produces some wind "phasing" issues too.

Sum to mono at master and you can hear the phase errors or try looking for some vectoroscope plugins.

Audition has phase meter included.  (at least CS5.5 does not sure on 3.0)

Audiofile Engineering's "Wave Editor" has one built in and for plug-in iZotope's Ozone 5 has one as well surely there are others.
