Umbrella for the mic stand
« on: September 29, 2013, 11:14:50 PM »
I had an umbrella that I used for my mic stand was green blue yellow, & I can't remember where I got it.  It connects to a clamp same size as I clamp mics on with.  Can anyone help me find again since I lost and need a new one.  Thanks.

Ted sold out of the ones that have a 3/8 microphone adapter...home brew is a Windtec Clamp and a Totes Collapsible Umbrella with the handle hacksawed off...insert metal rod in the area the mic adapter usually goes...if I recall correctly

Is it 3/8" or 5/8"?  I get them mixed up but need another one.  Maybe it'll turn up.....

Sorry to be so anal, but the correct spelling of the clamp is Windtech ;) I didnt want him trying to search for a clamp that doesnt exist 8)

And I have my same Windtech that I got back in early 2000s, and its beat to hell but is bulletproof. I am sure I will have it for another 12 years ;)
