Anybody use rechargeable 9v's ?

Anyone got any experience with any? My new pre has a funny looking power jack on the back- so I thought I might try some internal 9v's.

yes, BUT the capacity isn't great.  i've used the 220mAH ones and they suck.

i've read that Duracells alkalines are around 550mAH.  now i use the Energizer Lithium 9V, which runs about 3.5X that of the Duracells.

you can find the 9v lithiums on Ebay for a very reasonable price.

The 9v lithiums sound interesting....whom on Ebay is selling them?  I can't seem to pin down the correct keyword to find any of 'em on the Ebay search.

those ebay links are good ones.  i've been using these Energizers.  Ultralife makes lithium 9v as well, but i see the Energizers on ebay more often.

they are kick ase.
