local venue has been running louder then usual the last few outings and my gain was dialed in (peaks at -10) but now its borderline clipping
I have 2 options really…
1 - lower the gain on my tiny box from mid to low.
AND
on my dr-60d from mid to low (2 sets of mice, 1 preamp each)
2 - keep my tinybox where it is and attenuate on the m10 by lowing the side know from 4 down as far as 1
the dr-60d has an automatic -6db options that you can use when recording 2 channels so for now I can do that
so the question is, which is a "better" option for the tinybox > m10 - lower the preamp gain or on the recorder?
