AKG CK62 vs Naiant X-O Omnis
« on: March 11, 2015, 05:02:39 PM »
What's everyones take on these two mics? I'm looking into the ck62 world for my akgs since the busman omnis haven't been my favorite sound so far. I love naiant and AKG, but I'd love to support Jon in what he does and i know they must be great. The price difference would be about $150 assuming I got used akg and new naiants. I use omnis at any festivals which will be maybe 3-4 this summer, other than that they will sit a bit.

So what would you do?

As always thank you all!

naiant x-o omnis are great. they are low end heavy, I did to do some eq'ing to the low end. for the price you cant beat going w/ the naiant x-o omnis. if it's a money thing and trying to save you cant beat going with naiant x-o's best bang for your bucks IMO

below is a list of recordings I've done in different situations w/ the Naiant X-O's
