JB3 battery ran out...why didn't it save my recording?
« on: April 25, 2004, 03:22:56 AM »
I checked out the JB3 FAQ and saw that my recording should have been saved.  The first set is on there, but the second set is gone...new file was started obviously.  It shut down with less than two minutes left in the second set.  I thought it would have saved it and I would just miss the end, no biggie...but I went to transfer and it isn't there...just wondering what's up with this.

I wanted to cycle my batteries one night, so I just set it to record, but it didn't save the recording there either.

Moral:  don't trust the auto save.  Someone update the FAQ.

Batteries can be very inconsistent.  One way or the other, the JB3 hits shutoff voltage too quickly.  It doesn't stay in the voltage range where it should save long enough.  Make sense?
