Topic: Got my old JKLabs box back up and running

Local guy here in Denver.  Dr. Dan's Electronics.  It had some internal batteries that died.  Got those replaced and it's good as new.

That's awesome man! Cant wait to hear it again! The JK Labs were the FIRST actives boxes for AKG/MBHO and a couple others before the LB/TB were out! These were probably made over 10+ years ago. Very cool to see them still around! There were VERY few made total that I'm aware of, especially for the MBHOs!

It was made on 9.11.2001 on 9 freakin 11 That's CRAZY as hell! Truly a special box, and that's the icing on the cake IMO! I don't know why that's so cool to me that it was made on that day? It was such a monumental day in US history, even though it was because of pain and misery, but that makes your JK Labs box really special IMO! Jon from JK Labs finished building it on such a crazy day! +T to that

Do yourself a favor and get a better out cable made from by one of our fabulous cable makers.  That input on the M10 looks like a possible source of failure.

Not and ideal output for sure.  I think I had another that went straight to a stereo mini but I think I lost it when I misplaced my gear back a few months ago.
Or it might be in a drawer.  It's been a long time since this box was working.

Yep it sure is.  I think I have owned it since around 2006 or 07 maybe.

Yeah, Robb aka Darktrain[who makes my cables] or Ted will set you up proper for a great price, I'm sure A nice right angle or stubby 5-pin mini XLR>straight or right angle 1/8" mini cable would be super sweet and take the rig to the next level IMO

Thanks for the tip.  I'm gonna looking into that.  Looking forward to running it this weekend at The Obsessed / Karma To Burn / and The Atomic Bitchwax show. 
Will probably use my new IPAs for at least one of the bands on the bill to get a nice comparison of the two.
