Hi,

I need your help.
I recorded today something and when I wanted to switch off the Iriver, it got stuck in "Recording".
So i had to do a hard reset.

Now I have R_Line_001.wav with 0kb, but Windows shows used space 400MB.
So there is definetly something written, but not there

I tried show "hidden files" in windows, used Recuva and tried chkdsk /f /x - but none helped me.

Does anyone have an idea? Please )

Try dragging the file into CD Wave Editor and save as a new wav file. It sometimes will attach a new header to problem files.

It that doesn't work there are several header repair programs out there that are free.

I also resolved it with https://www.easeus.com/resource/data-recovery-software.htm

This was able to find the file under an another Name.
