Studio Projects C4's
« on: May 15, 2004, 01:18:35 AM »
I was wonderin' if these mics would serve me well for a long while before I would want to upgrade. This summer I plan on spendin' $700 or so on mics, cables, preamp/converter for my JB3. I think I am goin' to buy a UA-5 and make my own batery pack and do the mod myself. I am married w/ a child and don't have a whole lotta of scratch so I want to try to score the best value I can. I have found a UA-5 w/ free shippin' for $249.95 and SP C4 pair for $319.99 w/ free shippin'. I was wonderin' if any one knew of better deals and if this set up is worth it for the $$$$ ?
Thanks in advance
Peace

Paging Jonny... ;D

I was talking to him about these mics last night, and for the price I'm not sure you can beat 'em.  They come factory matched with card and omni caps, plus mounts and screens.

Great mics, I'm currently running them with my rig.  All recording (4 total) have turned out great.

Cool thanks! I just hope they don't go up in price by July. Do you have any samples (shows) posted any where?
