DPA 4080 & Zoom H2n
« on: May 04, 2019, 11:46:56 AM »
I would like to use a pair of DPA 4080 as external microphones together with Zoom H2n for recordings of mainly rock concerts (club & arena).
So far I have recorded with Soundman OKM II without additional battery box with very good results.
I wonder if this is also possible without an additional battery box when combining Zoom H2n plus 2 x DPA 4080.

Experiences? Recommendations?
Thank you very much!

The DPA 4080's runs on 5 V - 50 V

not without an adapter!!!!
over 9V is dangerous

50V fine if phantom thru a phantom to microdot adapter
