i did.

also uninstalled and re-installed 2.1.1 and 2.3.1. Same results. so weird.

according to google, it may be a locked file from an incomplete shutdown

i followed that path but did not find and "session data". this is weird.

Saw another post that said something about a bad line in the config file.

i used an app cleaner to uninstall everything. reinstalled and it worked. had to reinstall my plugins though.
