T-Bar and Mic Stand on the cheap?
« on: November 03, 2019, 12:34:13 PM »
I am new to taping and am looking for t-bar and mic stand that won't break the bank, under $100 if possible for both. I am also trying to spare myself going cross-eyed looking at a thousand products and so I am turning to the expertise of TS. I have a pair of CA-14s and AT853s and am using a Tascam DR-05.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Hard to answer w/out knowing more, but here's a couple ideas.

Super inexpensive, light, and fragile, a selfie stick tripod, $20:
https://www.amazon.com/Eocean-Extendable-Cellphone-Compatible-Included/dp/B07FF3NYKP/?tag=imoreb-20&ascsubtag=UUimUdUnU57731YYr
For t bar a wooden ruler that you cut down to size then drill a 1/4" hole in, a washer, and a 1/4" nut.  $2

Way more robust and versatile, the PatStand™ @ $61
