Master tracks: Well-Tempered Clavier by Kimiko Ishizaka

I listened to Goldberg Variations by Kimiko Ishizaka on Archive.org couple years ago. Today, I found she is kindly, openly sharing Well-Tempered Clavier recording. There are two versions, one final mix and one with master tracks. They were recording in Teldex Studio in Berlin, Germany. We can see and hear how the recording was made. And if someone is handy he can mix his own version.
Final mix (plus other information):

Master tracks (plus microphones information):

Very cool to have these shared.
Why is there a snare drum under the piano?

You are right. There is a snare drum. I'm also curious.

Ah, there's a cord running from the drum, couldn't see that in the other photo. Not sure why it would be used for the piano, but there is a bass drum micing method called a subkick that uses a speaker up against the bass drum. In this Yamaha model (which looks like a pretty good match to the photos) it is a 6.5" speaker inside a larger drum shell. That's what it looks like to me.

My friend told me, that he was recording Leslie bass with a speaker. I don't remember, maybe he used combination of speaker and microphone. He liked the result a lot. I have never seen it, thank you for the photo.

if #10 & 11 are really ORFT, with 17 cm spacing, then everything else in the photo is TINY!
