Bonnaroo Taping
« on: May 25, 2004, 02:14:46 PM »
This may be a dumb question, but...

How is the taping situation going to be at Bonnaroo this year?  It says all over my ticket not to bring in recording devices, else they will be confiscated.  Does this pertain only to video recording?

Also, do the taping sections fill up quickly.  They are first come first serve, I know, but do you have to get there and set up very early in order to be in the section?

Thanks for everything.  Bonnaroo is going to be my first major taping project, so wish me luck.

Lots of music to hit, so that's good! Bring a ton of batteries, or a really good field recharger. I'm bringing along a DC inverter, and an extra tractor battery for all my recharching and personal box fan needs.

On to the show!

Taping is good to go. No video taping though. Although, yeah, I just checked my ticket, and it did say that recording devices are prohibited. Hmm. The website does say that audio taping has the greenlight. No, I'm sure that taping will be cool. No doubt.

I wasn't there, but people have been saying that in years past, it's okay to go way FOB. There is no official section, some people will hang around the traditional board area section, but feel free to fly em where you can.

yeah, i figured as much that audio is ok.

It does say on the site that there will be a designated taping area for every stage.

Thanks for the help!
