Hmm, good question.   I'll need to replace them as well once I dig mine out again, but was not aware alternate filters were available.

Probably best to ask someone at Etymotic.  In addition to indicating which is standard it would be helpful if they posted basic response specifications or plots.  A set of comparative responses (showing just the difference in response between each filter) would be appropriate for comparative purposes.
