This is pretty close to the price of an actual AKG that supposedly sounds like the CK1 - the C451B. No modularity, though.

Just got the email that these are fixed cards, with no option of switching. They have no plan of making any other polar pattern versions either.

That's unfortunate. These could have been killer at this price point for a modular option. I'm sure they will be a great cardioid though - I can't wait to hear them.
