Sonic Port alternative?
« on: November 10, 2021, 11:55:24 AM »
Had a great time seeing My Morning Jacket in Chicago but unfortunately seem to have misplaced my Sonic Port. Those are no longer available in retail locations. Is there a good alternative for the iphone?

No, it is an audio interface for your iphone/ipad/itouch

I have an Apogee Jam+ that I purchased used a while back. It appears to be very similar.

Thanks. Appreciate any more suggestions. I can probably find a used Sonic Port ... bummer I lost mine. It's served me well.

There are a handful of used ones on eBay.

Aside from the guitar interface, these work surprisingly well as headphone DACs. At least my Apogee does.

I bought a used Sonic Port from Reverb. Supposedly on the way. I hope whoever found my other one can put it to use :)

I like the size of the Apogee but price for Sonic Port was half and I'd like it quick.

Alex, i have a brand new one in a box sitting here if you need in future!
I gave up on streaming since i do video. Too much to handle, audio, video and streaming.
