Cable on eBay--Dual Microdot Jack L+R Channel 1FT for DPA Stereo?

It's only $10, but I was thinking of trying one of these cables for a future DPA purchase. Do you think it would work fine? Just curious what others thought before I picked one up. Thanks.

There aren't any recorders with enough power to use plug in power directly with the 4061s are there?

I don't know of any that feature 5v bias but the 4063s can be used with a lot of recorders at 3v.

I would use a battery box from sound professionals. to get the power needed.

Marantz 620 has the highest plug in power voltage that I have personally tested at 4.7v. I used one with 4061s with good results.
