Thread title says it all, looking for a way to use my Discwasher pad. I have a Vacorec, a piece of record cleaning gear that works well, Ron Popeil made a cheap knock off of this device, original one is a good way to clean dust and other superficial dirt off of albums. Need the liquid cleaner for finger oils , imbedded dirt, etc.  Bob

This type of handmade solution is what the tapeheads.net serious vinyl guys swear by.
caution-99.9% alcohol can 'burn' skin
music IS love

When you get confused, listen to the music play!

Thank you David and Kyle. I would much rather have personal experience from the two of you then suggestions to "simply goggle it", that's why I love this forum. Personal suggestions rather then posting a "link". No one likes to trust "links"  when actually helpful forum members chime in. Bob

What about the "spin clean" item with its fluid I hear that's very popular

Groove Washer has one advantage in that for really dirty records, it has both a cleaning solution, similar to others I assume, and a rinsing solution which does not contain alcohol.

Groove Washer is used by Amoeba Records here in Los Angeles for really dirty vinyl.
