I just tried to order a SX-R4+ from Sonosax today and they let me know that they do not have any in stock and no plans to do another production run.  :(

Hopefully this means a new reocrder will be coming soon?

Gotham shows them as in stock. I put one in my cart to see if it would give a message of any sort and it didn't.

I LOVE my r4+.  I just wish it had 8 of the preamp/converters built in.  But I'm saving for an ad8+

Maybe it is only the US version? I just tried and I could put one in my cart on the Sonosax site. Had to carefully back away from that...

Maybe a Sound Devices 833!  They record in 32 bit and are made state side so if you have issues they are easier to get fixed.
