Hollyland LARK Max 2

This is an interesting thing.

32-bit float recording and 32-bit full chain audio.
Stealthy and decent specs.

Hopefully it has a way to use wired mics, otherwise I don’t see a huge benefit to this hobby.

Hopefully it has a way to use wired mics.
They seem to sell a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and Lav mic for the transmitter, so I guess the answer is yes.
Zoom M4 Mictrak -> DPA4060 or MKH416
Roland R-07 -> FEL Communications Clippy EM172 Omnis or pair of RØDE Lavaliers.
iPhone 14 -> Shure MV88 or Sennheiser AMBEO Smart Headset

Is interesting. The FAQ's are a bit light but  if it takes wired mics, then hmmmmmmm
music IS love

When you get confused, listen to the music play!

I'm 100% not interested in a usb c to mini option, but I can see why some might be ok with that solution.

Is it real 32 bit float or single ADC?  As with conventional audio recorders there seem to be some wireless mic systems out there with dual ADC and some with single ADC, and they don't state which in the adverts.

I would chiefly be worried about the processing that the device uses for NR and ALC - can it be turned off?  As I've said before (often...) I use the Rode Wireless Micro system for head mounted binaural recording but occasionally its "GainAssist" system can intrude.

Also, I wonder whether this system is tweaked for voice recording rather than flat frequency response recording.  The Rode system seems, subjectively, to be pretty flat.

Lastly, 120dB SPL isn't really that good for live amplified music recording - a bit borderline.
