Topic: BeachTek DXA-Pre 2ch Pre that is tiny

What do we think about this:

- 48v phantom
- VU meters
- 2 XLR inputs
- External power only (no battery, but looks easy to adapt a tiny rechargeable battery)
- 12oz weight only

but:
100dB dynamic range makes me wonder if the pre's can stack up against, say, a Shure FP-24

I would love to use this instead of the Shure for ch. 5-6 of my MixPre-6 and drop a pound from my kit....
