I ran into this space conundrum back in the first few months of doing video at shows, i started with 4K, i quickly found out with what I'm doing videoing from where I'm audio taping from, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze and I switched over to 2K (1440p) and have been very happy with how they have turned out and the disk usage is much more manageable.

Good idea! I still do 4k, but it takes a lot of space indeed.
