Topic: Help with Sonosax SX-M2M issue

so hoping I didn't fry my preamp

I recently studio scored a SX-M2M the version with the 2 switches for mono mode and mix mode.  had never even seen a pic of one before cool!

used it q couple times works fine.... last night I made a bad mistake

while it was running with phantom on I was going to plug an m10 into the line out for backup.  I was talking to FOH and not looking (I do a lot by feel being legally blind) and pushed the 1/8 into the DC IN jack 😟

lights went out and shutdown.  won't power up with good batteries

I have a DC cable Ted made me to see if it will power that way but I  don't want to send power if something is damaged

any ideas what I could've messed up internally?

assume nobody works on these anymore...

Who does Sonosax service in USA?
Used to be Jerry Bruck at PostHorn but I think he passed away a while ago...
