It is a somewhat video centric recorder.

In Europe one can get a Zoom F8n Pro for the same price.
Or the MixPre 3 II for 30% more or the MixPre 6 II at a 50% higher price.

Will be very interesting to see where and how Deity will position themselves.

Interesting device, but definitvely video oriented: no 44.1kHz for audio 😲

If one records 4 tracks with it and wants a product at 44k.  I would record at 96K.  Mixdown the four tracks to two tracks stereo at 44k or whatever.
There are free DAWS that can do this too.

I just think it’s interesting to note that it has no “audio” frequencies (44.1/88.2/176.4) at all (like previous devices did).

The 44.1/88.2/176.4 are just for convenience for CD.  The standard has been 48/96/192 generally otherwise.
