solar power charging?
« on: June 30, 2004, 10:56:40 AM »
i have been trying to firgure out a way to charge up at festivals and the car adaptor is the only viable option i have found.  Has anyone had any experience with solar panels and using them on the road to charge up?  It seems like it could work, but really i do not know how.

you need to get some big, high-output solar panels to get enough current to make it worthwhile.

my 1 watt one can barely do anything except charge my cell phone, and that took 30 hours of light for a full charge.
