I always use line out 1 - only cause I remember a long time ago, in the days of discman w/ tape cassette adapter, they said to use line out.  Line out is also not affected by the volume control on the headphones....

I am not sure why... just habit I guess..  :-\

Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.

Using line out could also help save you some battery power since w/ headphone out you'd need it cranked probably at least 3/4 of the way up.  Either way will work w/o any damage to either the JB3 or the car stereo.  No matter which way you do it, make sure the car stereo volume is turned all the way down, they slowly increase the volume to your liking.  Dont want to blast out a car speaker with loud clapping or whistling at full volume on both JB3 and car stereo.

I use line-out...but it sure does take a lot of volume on the car end to get it up(about twice as much as the radio)...but no problems at all.
