MKW SHN Problem
« on: September 06, 2004, 09:16:25 PM »
Running in to a problem I can't solve so want to run it by you guys/gals.  I've got two different recordings of the same show.  When converting back to WAV to rip some CD's for friends I'm running in to a problem as the disc total size are larger than a 700MB cd.  Below is what I'm getting:
-
Show 1:
SHN Disc 1 - 326MB   WAV Disc 1 - 521MB
SHN Disc 2 - 437MB   WAV Disc 2 - 712MB
SHN Disc 3 - 414MB   WAV Disc 3 - 715MB
-
Show 2:
SHN Disc 1 - 310MB   WAV Disc 1 - 521MB
SHN Disc 2 - 414MB   WAV Disc 2 - 713MB
SHN Disc 3 - 391MB   WAV Disc 3 - 715MB
-
Any suggestions on what the hell I'm over looking or doing wrong?

Have you tried burning to audio discs yet?  If memory serves, you should be able to fit more than 700 MB of data on an 80min/700 MB disc.  More info on why at the CD-Recordable FAQ

My stupidity has come to a end!!! ;D  After spending the past 30mins trying to figure this out I've found my problem.  I was hitting Data CD instead of Audio CD.  Damn, sitting here enjoying some green shrimps and damn if I didn't get stupid.   ;)
