DAP-1 users, I bought it!!
« on: September 22, 2004, 08:04:12 PM »
what is a fair price to pay for a used DAP-1.  I found one at a music store here in Memphis that was brought to them to be repaired.  it was sent in to Tascam and fixed.  The customer never came back to pick it up.  I'm not really sure what I would do with it, but sure would like to have it.

Thanks!!

I bought mine used and paid $800 bucks for the deck and case and all the cables I needed. It was a close friend though that stopped hitting shows.  It has been very reliable and I'm happy I had a great opportunity.  If I were you I'd ask for something around that range since it has been sent back and it's not even the real owners.  I'm not sure if this helps but good luck!  It's a great deck.

yah id say 450 is decent especially if it is in good working condition.  then go get yourself a battery or power supply and youve got a nice deck on your hands.

you don't want or need the battery that comes with it anyway.   great deal IMO.

yeah, that's a good deal for sure.

ok......thanks for the input guys!!

I went in the shop this afternoon after work and got it.  talked him down to $375 out the door.  Now, the questions really start coming.
What all do I need to get this thing running?  it did not come with battery or A/C adapter
What type of Battery pack do I need?
What cables do I need to run from my UA5?
Should I have bought it?  Already having thoughts ???

thanks!!
