Ok, I am going to TRY and not feel stupid for asking these questions, but....

What is a condenser mic?

and stereo verses mono mics...?

and the other types out there....?

Condenser Mics are electrically active. The mic element requires power to function.
Compared that to Dynamic Mics which do not require any power.

Stereo mics are basically two mics in one body....left and right channels...
