any working sound engineers here?
« on: November 01, 2004, 11:52:52 PM »
Hey all,
I'm working on the Matrix section for our illustrious taping guide and I would like to bounce a few FOH console related issues off sombody who knows them inside and out.  There are a few grey areas in my understanding of the larger boards.  If sombody (or multiple people) would be willing to fact check a section for me it would be very cool.  Just drop me a line if you are willing to help at mmmatt@zensearch.com , and I'll send you part of the file.

Thanks in advance!
Matt
I do think taping is the reality of the business..it is also an impetus for artists to create studio CDs that are ART, not just another recording...    Fareed Haque  2-4-2005

I've got 2 guys working on it now.  Heath and Brad Burleson (not sure his screen name).  I'll see where it goes from there, but I think I'm covered.  It isn't that big of a confusion on my part (I don't think) I'll know in a day or two when these guys get back to me.
I didn't even know Brad was on this board, he is on the YMSB sound crew and runs a matrix most every show for them.  I'm sure these guys will do me right.  I'll hit joe up later if he is willing.  I'm sure I'll need further input before it is done.  This is a very complex subject.  Or at least I'm making it that way!!!

Thanks as always Jonny!  +T brother
