dual boot virus question
« on: November 14, 2004, 07:40:29 PM »
I would like to dual boot my new laptop. probably just xp on both. One partion will be for "normal use":  internet, dvd, whatever.  the other partition purely for taping.

I'm worried that what if somehow I got a virus from my "normal use" partition it will corrupt my taping partition?  +t in a advance...

as far as I know, not if you are dual booting, and hiding the unused partitions from each other.
