when should i get my deck cleaned?
« on: January 22, 2005, 12:47:33 PM »
Hey,
I've had my deck since Feb of 00. I've taped a bunch of shows maybe 30. So that's about 70 hours. Listened to maybe 30 hours of tape. I've just started to convert my only tapes (today my first). I'm guessing I might have about 100-120 hours on the deck. Where should I get it cleaned? How offend should I just it cleaned, and lastly why do we get the deck clean? By the way I've ran the cleaning dat once or twice. any help would be great!

-thanks,
mark

a couple hundred hours on a deck should not be a problem.  just run the cleaning tape through before a big project/festival.  send it to paul when it starts to act up, or gets submerged.
we all live downstream.

Call Paul and ask.

The labor rate is $75.00 but it may take less than an hour.  I recall them telling me that they charge the exact time, not rounded up to the next hour.
