I plugged the power cord in to both the docking station and straight to the JB3 and can't get the JB3 to turn on.
Any ideas?

Is there any indication of power? Is it just locked up?

Un-plug it, open the back, take out the batteries, put them back in, close it up, plug it in again... can't tell you why, but it worked on mine.

the other thing that works sometimes is to plug it into the USB cord while wired to your computer.
