I have a 15' pair of Star Quads that I build (for less than $25 including Neutrik XLR connectors)
and they sound fine.  I never did do any kind of comparison between my old mongrel no-name
cheap cables and the Star Quads but I can't say that after using the Star Quads that I noticed
and significant difference.

If anyone is looking for some serious cables, a friend of mine is selling his 4m pair of Harmonic Tech
Truth-Link cables.  He swears these were the key to his recording success and I've never heard a
bad tapre from him.  I'm sure the Neumann's and V2 didn't hurt either   ;)  PM me and I can't point
you in his direction if you are interested.

Good cables if you have no others, better than Guitar Center offerings I'm sure.

Good cables for backup in case you need extensions or someone steals your Bumble Bees ;D
