MINIR82 ( Miniature Recorder )
Configurable from 2 to 8 tracks, this miniature recorder ( it fits in the pocket of a vest ) responds to the différent situations commonly found in mobile recording :
- Stereo, with 2 microphones : in this situation, the sound engineer needs to have an equipment as small as possible.
- Stereo 2 micros + 2 lignes : e.g. an ambiance sound with a stereo mic and a dialogue with 2 wireless receivers connected to the 2 Line Input at fixed level.
- Recording up to 8 tracks: in this situation, the sound engineer usually needs a mixing console digitally connected to a recorder. As the functionalities commonly offered by the mixer are already covering the needs of this situation, the Recorder can be used for his primary function, that is "Recording".
Despite its reduced size - only120 x 80 x 28 mm (4.75” x 3.15” x 1.1”) for a weight of approx. 450 gr (1/2 pound) with 4x AA batteries – the MINIR82 achieves all these differents situations. The MINIR82 includes two top quality microphone amplifiers with limiters and LF Cut, 2 Line inputs at fixed level and 8 AES/EBU Digital Inputs.
With Recording capabilities from 44,1kHz up to 192 kHz at 24bits, the storage is achieved on two separate medias: one 20 or 40GB hard disk and one CompactFlash card . The intuitive menu allows users to freely configurate tracks and media assignement. Of course, Time Code functionalities are availabe, all formats, including HDTV.
