sometimes a nice single stereo mic is the answer. a t-bar, shockmounts, and mic configs can be a PITA if all you're looking for is something to plug in. If that's what you want, try something like the sony. If you think you'd enjoy setting up more stuff, the superlux's are a fine budget option.
