so I wont need to set it to high or low?  Just plug it in, and its all good.

Right... plug it in to the LineIn(Opt) Jack and use the manual record setting and you'll be A-OK!

Great, so now I just need to get there and in without getting caught and attempt to get a decent recording that is listenable.  :)

Thanks again for all your help, I feel so much better now.
