Neon Lights and Taping... (buzzing)
« on: May 14, 2005, 05:18:29 PM »
has anyone experienced a buzzing sound on a tape possibly from neon lights?

sounds similar to when a cell phone rings near your tv or speakers...

had some problems tonight... i'm thinking from the neon lights all
over the ceiling.

neon lights can wreak havoc on pa systems, I'm sure our rigs re just as susceptible...
I’ve had a few weird experiences and a few close brushes with total weirdness of one sort or another, but nothing that’s really freaked me out or made me feel too awful about it. - Jerry Garcia

yes, I would say that proximity to the lights would definitely be a factor
