here is a screen shot from the wav file from tonights DP gig. all i have done is normalize it @ -0.2dB, which seems to have addressed the 2 brief clips (although there weren't any artifacts, i just wanted to lower the peaks to below 0dB).
my question, is there anything else i can do to this wave form to boost the overall volume... it appears that most of the wav is around -3.0 dB thru -9.0 dB... but when i adjust the volume (gain) i will get redonkulous clipping. it also appears that my right mic is a little hotter then the left
which will also complicate any adjustments...
honestly, it doesnt really matter to me, it is listenable, i just would like a way to not crank the volume on playback. just want to experiment with things... any pointers?
